How we verify every fact

Every fitment fact on this site is checked against a real source before it is published. If we cannot verify a figure — a torque, a part number, a fitment — we do not print it. We would rather leave a gap than guess.

Where our facts come from

We rank sources by how much we trust them, and some facts are only ever allowed to come from the top tier.

Verified — Nissan factory data, official parts catalogues, and parts we have pulled and measured from real donor Patrols ourselves. The only source we allow for part numbers and specifications.
Reputable — established workshop manuals and recognised supplier fitment tables, used to cross-check.
Community — owner forums and groups. Useful for "owners commonly report…", never for a specification or a definitive fitment.

The rule that keeps us honest

Our pages are assembled by a system, but that system is not allowed to invent anything. Before a page goes live, every number, part number and fitment claim on it is matched against our verified data. Anything that does not match is blocked — the page does not publish. This is automatic and it fails safe: no match, no publish.

When we are not sure

Some questions come down to your exact chassis. When that happens the page tells you plainly and points you to us — send your chassis and engine and we check the part against a real donor truck before anything ships. For repair procedures and torque settings, always use the official workshop manual for your Patrol.
